Anthony joined Rivage Investment in September 2023 as Infrastructure debt analyst.

Before joining Rivage, Anthony worked as an associate in the infrastructure advisory team of KPMG Corporate Finance in Paris. Anthony advised equity infrastructure funds in M&A transactions for wind and solar PV platforms in Europe. He was also involved in a wide range of deals such as hydroelectricity and green ammonia greenfield projects in Central and North Africa, and an airport concession renewal in France.
Anthony started his career within the Infrastructure team of CACIB before joining the Energy Transition team of Eiffel Investment Group, active in bridge financing for renewable projects.

Anthony graduated in Corporate Finance from EDHEC Business School.

Timothée joined Rivage Investment in 2020 as an Analyst on infrastructure projects, mainly focused on portfolio management.

Timothée has 9 years of experience in financing at Societe Generale, including 5 as Portfolio Manager on infrastructure structured finance, as an Associate and then VP. He worked on Infrastructure, Energy (including Renewables) and Metals & Mining transactions, mostly EMEA-based.

He holds a degree from Sciences-Po Bordeaux (Masters in Finance)

Idir Azikiou

Idir joined Rivage in 2018 as an analyst. He has almost 10 years of experience in public sector credit analysis, ALM analysis and sectorial analysis.

He started his career at Banque d’Algerie where he was responsible for analysis of the local banking sector. He then joined Natixis and Credit Foncier de France in functions such as credit risk analyst and ALM analyst. He was more recently a public sector credit analyst at SFIL before joining Rivage Investment.

Idir holds a Masters in Economics and a Masters Bank/Finance from the Université de Paris 1.

Hervé Besnard

Hervé Besnard

Hervé founded Rivage Investment in 2010, and is the CEO of the company.

Prior to that, Hervé was Managing Director at BNP Paribas. He was in charge of the credit structuring department and head of the European teams. Hervé started his career in the BNP Paribas infrastructure project finance department. Hervé has over 25 years of experience in structured finance and capital markets.

He has an engineering degree from l’Ecole Centrale Paris.

Amine Bouattour

Amine joined the Strategy team as an Associate in October 2025. He focuses on defining Rivage Investment’s strategic positioning and forward-looking market views, in direct support of the firm’s infrastructure debt investment activity.

Prior to joining Rivage Investment, Amine gained substantial experience in consulting at Indefi as a Senior Strategy Consultant, advising major asset managers on strategy, external growth and fundraising issues. Previously, Amine also worked as a consultant, mainly in financial and banking services, at Teamwill Consulting and Mc2i.

Amine holds a Master of Science in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the Ecole des Arts et Métiers Institute of Technology and a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research, specialising in Fintech, from the University of California, Berkeley.

 

 

Margaux Harris

Margaux Harris joined Rivage in 2024 as an Investment Director.

She began her career in 2013 in the project finance team at BNP Paribas, where she participated in various advisory and arranging mandates for transportation, conventional and renewable energy projects in Europe and the Middle East. In 2020, she joined the Infrastructure Debt team at Allianz Global Investors, where she gained knowledge of institutional clients and structured transactions tailored to their needs.

Margaux holds a Master’s degree in Management from ESCP Europe with a specialization in financial and legal engineering.

Panagiotis Karagiannopoulos

Takis joined Rivage investment in March 2024 as part of its Master Degree in Project and Structured Finance of the Paris Nanterre University. He started his career in 2015 as a civil and geotechnical engineer at Aéroports de Paris, Tractebel-Engie and Jean Lutz Sa where he completed his phd in geotechnics in collaboration with the University Gustave Eiffel. As a phd geotechnical engineer, he had a technical-commercial role in special foundations.

Takis graduated as a civil engineer (double degree) from École des Ponts ParisTech and National Technical University of Athens, and holds a master’s degree in infrastructure project finance.

John joined Rivage in 2015 as an Analyst, taking on roles such as Investment Manager before becoming Director. He has over 15 years of experience in investment and advisory, gained in both Paris and London, following nearly 5 years in investment fund audit.

He began his career at PwC in London, within the audit department specializing in investment funds. He then moved to Mercer, where he advised institutional investors on a wide range of topics including investment strategy, portfolio construction, liability management, and manager selection.

John holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Glasgow. He also holds a Master’s degree in Project and Structured Finance from École des Ponts et Chaussées / Université Paris Ouest. In addition, he is a CFA Charterholder.

Richmonde joined Rivage Investment in February 2026 as a Portfolio Analyst, bringing strong experience in infrastructure and energy project finance.

She previously worked at Caisse d’Épargne Normandie as a Senior Analyst Originator, contributing to deal origination, structuring and the portfolio monitoring of infrastructure projects. She also held a position as a Portfolio Manager at Natixis CIB, where she oversaw the performance of a portfolio of telecom and renewable energy assets across the EMEA region.

Richmonde is a Financial Engineer graduated from Institut Agro Montpellier, and also holds an MSc in International Financial Analysis from NEOMA Business School.

Maxime joined Rivage at the end of 2017 as an analyst. He had previously started his career in 2014 at HSBC as a project finance analyst before moving to BPI France as a financial analyst on Space, Telecom, Energy and Project Finance within the Export Insurance team. He was involved in analysis and risk assessment of export credit insurance applications for international project finance transactions.

Maxime graduated in Engineering at Ecole des Mines de Nancy and holds a Masters in Business from HEC Paris.
