Anthony joined Rivage Investment in September 2023 as Infrastructure debt analyst.

Before joining Rivage, Anthony worked as an associate in the infrastructure advisory team of KPMG Corporate Finance in Paris. Anthony advised equity infrastructure funds in M&A transactions for wind and solar PV platforms in Europe. He was also involved in a wide range of deals such as hydroelectricity and green ammonia greenfield projects in Central and North Africa, and an airport concession renewal in France.
Anthony started his career within the Infrastructure team of CACIB before joining the Energy Transition team of Eiffel Investment Group, active in bridge financing for renewable projects.

Anthony graduated in Corporate Finance from EDHEC Business School.

Timothée joined Rivage Investment in 2020 as an Analyst on infrastructure projects, mainly focused on portfolio management.

Timothée has 9 years of experience in financing at Societe Generale, including 5 as Portfolio Manager on infrastructure structured finance, as an Associate and then VP. He worked on Infrastructure, Energy (including Renewables) and Metals & Mining transactions, mostly EMEA-based.

He holds a degree from Sciences-Po Bordeaux (Masters in Finance)

Hervé Besnard

Hervé Besnard

Hervé founded Rivage Investment in 2010, and is the CEO of the company.

Prior to that, Hervé was Managing Director at BNP Paribas. He was in charge of the credit structuring department and head of the European teams. Hervé started his career in the BNP Paribas infrastructure project finance department. Hervé has over 25 years of experience in structured finance and capital markets.

He has an engineering degree from l’Ecole Centrale Paris.

Pierre-Emmanuel joined Rivage in 2022 as an Investment Director.

He has 12 years of experience in the infrastructure & energy sector: he has previously worked at BNP Paribas within the energy, resources and infrastructure team in Paris where he was a director since 2020.
He was involved in a wide range of transactions, executing underwriting / lead arranging as well as advisory mandates for infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
He brings international experience, having spent 1 year in New York (focusing on Latin America) and 7 years in Singapore (focusing on Asia Pacific) before moving back to Paris in 2018.

Pierre-Emmanuel graduated from INSA Lyon engineering school, specializing in energy and sustainability, and holds a specialized master’s degree from ESSEC Business School.

Takis joined Rivage investment in March 2024 as part of its Master Degree in Project and Structured Finance of the Paris Nanterre University. He started his career in 2015 as a civil and geotechnical engineer at Aéroports de Paris, Tractebel-Engie and Jean Lutz Sa where he completed his phd in geotechnics in collaboration with the University Gustave Eiffel. As a phd geotechnical engineer, he had a technical-commercial role in special foundations.

Takis graduated as a civil engineer (double degree) from École des Ponts ParisTech and National Technical University of Athens, and holds a master’s degree in infrastructure project finance.

John joined Rivage in 2016 as an analyst. He has over 9 years of experience in investments and advisory in both Paris and London.

John began his career within audit at PwC London, specialising in Investment Funds. He then joined Mercer Investments, where as an investment consultant he advised institutional investors on a range of investment matters, including: investment strategy, portfolio construction, liability management and manager selection.

John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance and a Masters in Finance from the University of Glasgow, and a Masters in Project and Structured Finance from the Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées/ Paris Ouest University. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Maxime joined Rivage at the end of 2017 as an analyst. He had previously started his career in 2014 at HSBC as a project finance analyst before moving to BPI France as a financial analyst on Space, Telecom, Energy and Project Finance within the Export Insurance team. He was involved in analysis and risk assessment of export credit insurance applications for international project finance transactions.

Maxime graduated in Engineering at Ecole des Mines de Nancy and holds a Masters in Business from HEC Paris.

Sijia Li

Sijia joined Rivage Investment in May 2024 as infrastructure debt analyst.

Before joining Rivage, Sijia was an investment analyst in the Energy Transition team at Mirova in Paris. Sijia has worked on acquisition and exit transactions for a range of projects across Europe, including wind, solar PV, hydroelectricity, as well as EV charging and e-fuels companies. She also contributed to asset management operations, such as the refinancing of 194 MW wind farms in Spain.
Before that, Sijia began her career within the Investment Division of Banque des territoires, Caisse Des dépôts, a key player in regional infrastructure investments.

Sijia is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris.

Clément joined Rivage in July 2022 as an infrastructure project analyst.

Before joining Rivage, Clément worked as an investment analyst at EDF in Santiago, Chile. Covering projects in Chile, Peru and Colombia, he was accompanying the local development teams on the structuring and financing of greenfield energy generation projects developed by EDF in the region.

Clément graduated in corporate finance from Neoma BS.

Pierre-Emmanuel joined Rivage Investment in 2018 as an analyst, after 4 years at Deloitte.

He started his career in 2014 in Paris, working for Deloitte where, as a consultant in Transaction Services, he took part in many Financial Due Diligence processes analysing the main valuation drivers of M&A operations over many different sectors. In 2016, he then joined up the Financial Modelling team to work on the financial models supporting project financing in the fields of Energy and Infrastructure.

Pierre-Emmanuel graduated from Ecole de Management de Lyon.
