Idir joined Rivage in 2018 as an analyst. He has almost 10 years of experience in public sector credit analysis, ALM analysis and sectorial analysis.

He started his career at Banque d’Algerie where he was responsible for analysis of the local banking sector. He then joined Natixis and Credit Foncier de France in functions such as credit risk analyst and ALM analyst. He was more recently a public sector credit analyst at SFIL before joining Rivage Investment.

Idir holds a Masters in Economics and a Masters Bank/Finance from the Université de Paris 1.

Hervé Besnard

Hervé founded Rivage Investment in 2010, and is the CEO of the company.

Prior to that, Hervé was Managing Director at BNP Paribas. He was in charge of the credit structuring department and head of the European teams. Hervé started his career in the BNP Paribas infrastructure project finance department. Hervé has over 25 years of experience in structured finance and capital markets.

He has an engineering degree from l’Ecole Centrale Paris.

Alizée joined Rivage Investment in 2024 as a Public Sector Analyst.

Alizée began her career with Deloitte in the Audit and Advisory team dedicated to the public sector, where she carried out audit assignments in connection with the experimentation of the certification of public accounts. She then moved to Sienna Private Credit, where she worked on financing public projects and infrastructure, also developing her skills relating to improving the quality of public services and reinforcing ESG standards in this sector.

She is a graduate of Sciences Po Strasbourg in Law and Administration, and also holds a Master’s degree in Public Management.

Violaine joined Rivage Investment in 2014. She has over 20 years of experience in capital markets, structured finance and credit structuring. She is currently in charge of Rivage’s structured finance and debt advisory business and also manages its public sector debt fund.

Violaine started her career in 1991 as a tax lawyer, working at Ernst & Young’s International Tax Services group in New York City. She then moved to capital markets in 1996 and has worked, first, as an interest rate derivatives structurer and, from 1998 as a credit structurer at Commerz Financial Products, IXIS CIB and Royal Bank of Scotland. In each of these positions, Violaine was responsible for originating, arranging and marketing structured credit transactions. Her product expertise includes credit derivatives, cash and synthetic securitisations (CDOs, CLOs), covered bonds, IR and FX derivatives, structured credit funds, securitization swaps, structured repos and asset repackagings using on-shore and off-shore SPVs.

Violaine is a graduate from HEC Paris and holds an LLM in International Tax Law from University of Paris XI School of Law and an MS in Taxation from Fordham University Graduate School of Business Administration (New York). Violaine was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1992.
