Denis Gardrat joined Rivage Investment UK as a Partner in July 2025.

Previously, Denis was Managing Director at J.P. Morgan in London, where he was the Global Head of Credit Structuring. He led a team specialising in structured products and solutions across a broad range of credit underlyings.

Before joing J.P. Morgan, Denis worked at BNP Paribas in London from 2003 to 2018, where he held various structuring roles, specialising in credit derivatives, financing solutions and collateralised loan obligations (CLOs).

He began his career in 2001 at PwC as a project finance consultant.

Denis is a graduate of l’École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris and holds an MSc in Project Finance and Structured Finance from l’Université Paris X.

Chris Hart joined Rivage Investment UK in July 2025.

Previously, he was an Investment Director at Patrizia in London, where he played a key role in the origination and management of high-yield infrastructure debt investments, while also contributing to fundraising efforts.

Prior to that, Chris worked at HSBC in London until 2022 as an Associate Director in the Infrastructure Finance team, with a primary focus on the digital and telecoms sectors. In this role, he provided debt advisory services and advised financing solutions for large multinational transactions.

He also served as Vice President at Commerzbank in London within the Infrastructure Finance team from 2015 to 2018, contributing to numerous transactions covering various sectors, including energy, utilities, renewables and transport.

Chris began his career in 2007 at PwC in London in the assurance and corporate finance teams.

Chris holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

James Lucas joined Rivage Investment UK in January 2026 as Executive Director, with the mission of developing the UK market, structuring and leading commercial strategies, and strengthening investor relationship management in a context of strong growth.

Previously, he was Head of UK Business Development at Swiss Life Asset Managers, where he designed and implemented commercial strategies for the UK market, developed strategic partnerships with major industry players, and led large-scale projects across institutional, wholesale, and consultant segments. Before that, James held senior positions at Hermes Investment Management and Henderson Global Investors, where he managed sales teams, developed private market strategies, , and secured significant mandates from institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds.

James holds an Investment Management Certificate, a diploma in Interpretation of Financial Statements, and a Master’s degree in Anthropology with Economics from the University of Durham.

Mads Sahl Andersen joined Rivage Investment in November 2025 as an Associate, bringing experience in credit investing across the infrastructure and energy transition sectors.

Prior to joining Rivage Investment, Mads was a Senior Associate at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) in London and Copenhagen. He played a key role in establishing and scaling the Green Credit Fund from its inception and worked on a range of complex structured credit transactions spanning renewable energy, synthetic risk transfers, and bioenergy. He began his career at Howden Financial Advisory in Copenhagen, focusing on the analysis and optimization of clients’ banking solutions.

Mads holds an MSc in Advanced Economics and Finance and a BSc in Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School. He is fluent in English and Danish.
