Fostering inclusive hiring through mentoring

SOCIAL & ESG

February 2023. Rivage Investment became further committed to equal opportunities by setting up a mentoring program for young people from rural and priority urban areas, in support of the government’s “1 young person, 1 solution” scheme. Thanks to the partnership concluded with the “Article 1” association, participating employees will be able to contribute to the social and professional integration of young people targeted by the association. In addition to the mentoring program, the partnership also includes:

  • Raising awareness of inclusive recruitment amongst managers during a training session led by Article 1 volunteers
  • The organisation of a “job dating” in our premises in order to promote the recruitment of young people supported by the association
  • Funding of €20,000 for the various programs implemented by the association for 2023

Energy renovation support for low-income households through the association “les Compagnons Bâtisseurs

SOCIAL & ESG

February 2023. Support to the association “Compagnons Bâtisseurs“.

In France, nearly 6 million households are in a situation of fuel poverty (ONPE 2016). These households spend over 10% of their budget on paying for their energy bills or do not heat their homes sufficiently because they cannot afford to.

The rise in energy prices is not the only cause of fuel poverty. The state of housing is also a major contributor. Poor thermal insulation, outdated heating and hot water production equipment all add to energy bills.

Through our support for the “Compagnons Bâtisseurs“, we help home owners to undertake energy renovation work: insulation, ventilation, heating, etc.

Supporting  le Théâtre de la Colline, Paris

ART & HEALTHCARE

February 2021. The theatre was ravaged by the Covid-19 pandemic, with performances grinding to a halt for over a year. Management and actors of the theatre realised that they could play a new role by reaching out by telephone to spectators who were unable to attend performances. This is how the Au creux de l’Oreille” (“Into the ear“) project was born, and it is now being extended to long-term patients in public health establishments. At Rivage Investment, we were won over by this operation and wish to support it financially through this sponsorship initiative. Indeed, we enable long-term patients, who are often isolated, to break the monotony of their daily hospital life and remain human thanks to these poetic and literary exchanges.

Au creux de l’Oreille” also helps young actors who have been unable to perform for many months.

Rivage Investment is therefore proud to support “Au creux de l’Oreille”, the Théâtre national La Colline and public hospitals.
